The Red Tape Team is managed by Yorkshire & Humber Chambers of Commerce and has received funding from Yorkshire Forward.
The Red Tape Team work in partnership with leading organisations that provide help and support for businesses. These include:

The business support page contains information on all these organisations and the useful services they provide, and many others too.
Our aim is to make the most of the existing business support services by working together.
By sharing information and updating on developments the aim is to provide a service that will make the best of the resources available to meet the needs of the Yorkshire and Humber region's small businesses.
The team hold regular Advisory Panel meetings which provide a forum for key partners and business experts to help the team achieve their aims.
Tony Hickton - chairman of the Advisory Panel
The chairman of the Advisory Panel is Tony Hickton, Managing Director of Barnsley based Hicktons.
"As a business owner I'm only too aware of the large amount of administrative work caused by increased legislation, and keeping on top of all the changes is a major struggle.
Small businesses need time and resources to generate business - presently their energy is instead employed in form filling and grappling with the ever increasing demands of red tape.
This initiative is something practical we're doing to help and I'd encourage businesses to get the help available from the team."
